Hello, I’m Kawaben, a man who truly loves his wife and daughter.
I got hooked on making character bentos after I saw the look on my daughter’s face and how well she ate when I made her an Anpanman bento. I was so moved that my usually picky eater happily finished the whole thing! Since then, I’ve been creating bentos with all sorts of different characters. It brings a huge smile to my face to see my daughter excitedly dance around, wondering which character she’ll get next.

I’ll be focusing on simple character bentos for people who are too busy in the mornings because they have two working parents, or who just aren’t good with detailed tasks. I hope to expand the community of character bento lovers through this blog.
